On ESO #131, we interviewed writer Van Jensen about the concluding chapter of the Pinocchio Vampire Slayer saga. When he and artist Dusty Higgins created the first book, they were very careful to honor the original story. In this day and age, when the market appears to be flooded with presidential hunters, cheerleader slayers, sparkling vampires, and talking toys, it would be easy to dismiss these books, but I beg you not to. Although these are continuing adventures of characters created in 1883, the story stands alone and can be enjoyed by everyone.
