This week on ESO #132, we interviewed Martin Powell about his first creator-owned project, The Halloween Legion. Another all-ages book, this prose story features striking images by Danny Kelly. It is a novel I very much appreciate now and one that young teenage me would have loved.
Introducing the "World's Weirdest Heroes" - The Skeleton! Grimalkin the Witch! Autumn the Black Cat! Freddy the Ghost! Will young Molly become a member? I'm so glad this story is the start of an ongoing series and even more so that it'll soon be featured in upcoming graphic novel featuring art by Thomas Boatwright and Diana Leto.
