All the Rage

Guess who made a recent guest appearance on an episode of the DC Comics fan podcast Raging Bullets?

Give up?

Okay, the term "guest appearance" is a bit strong, maybe I should have used the term "cameo." I've been mentioned on a few podcasts, but this is the first time my voice has ever been played on air. While I was at the NYCC, I visited with a few of my favorite podcasters throughout the weekend. When I approached Sean Whelan, cohost of Raging Bullets, he suddenly pulled out a recorder and asked my thoughts on a current favorite DC comic I am enjoying. I was completely unprepared, but I think I managed to not embarrass myself too much. In fact, I had a lot of fun!

For the last couple of months, Raging Bullets has been including a couple of the NYCC fan clips at the end of each episode. The one featuring me is episode #117 Part B and I appear near the very end at the 1:59:30 mark. What DC comic did I choose to pimp? You'll just have to listen to find out! You can find the all the Raging Bullets shows on iTunes, or just click on the link below:

It is actually quite a thrill for me to appear on Raging Bullets as it is easily one of my favorite podcasts. Sean and his cohost Jim "Sensei of the Whatnot" Segulin have a very positive take on the comics industry and it comes through in every episode. The focus of the show is DC Comics and the presentation isn't fancy, but simply two good friends talking about their favorite comics. They rant and rave at length, but always with a good sense of humor. I enjoy the show so much that I often think of them while I'm reading my weekly DC books and I can honestly say that they have enhanced my enjoyment of them. So if you are a reader of anything DC, I strongly suggest checking out the show - even the episodes that do not feature yours truly.
