ESO Podcast - Episode 189

Lights…Camera…Action! The ESO satellite reeks of testosterone this week as we rave about our favorite action heroes on the big and small screen. And if that wasn’t enough to make our guest Thomas sweat, we also strap the writer in The Geek Seat. Plus, Michael Day beams aboard to promote the upcoming Farragut Fest in the Khan Report. All this along with the usual Rants, Raves, and Shout Outs!

As we continue our Countdown to Halloween, ESO has a psychotic episode! Mike, Mike, and Bobby are joined by Jessa Phillips, Jason De La Torre, and the long-awaited return of Dan to reveal the demented, deranged, maniacal, and downright freaky schizoids we admire. And speaking of straightjackets, we chat with Martin Powell and Diana Leto about their Halloween Legion project and they each take a twisted turn in The Geek Seat. Countdown to Halloween - Alfred Hitchcock's Ghostly Gallery

The other Halloween treat from my childhood I'm happy to share with y'all tonight is one of my all-time favorite collections of stories, Alfred Hitchcock's Ghostly Gallery. I definitely recommend seeking out the actual book to read some great tales by such masters as Walter Brooks, Robert Arthur, H.G. Wells, Robert Louis Stevenson and others. Here are some of the eerie illustrations by Fred Banbury.

Once again, thanks to Mom & Dad for finding and sending me the book and Kat for her scanning skills!
