Quotes of Legend - Woody Allen

74-year-old Woody Allen on getting older: "I find it a lousy deal. You don't get smarter, you don't get wiser, you don't get more mellow, you don't get more kindly. Nothing really happens. Your back hurts more, you get more indigestion, your eyesight isn't as good, you need a hearing aid. It's a bad business getting older, and I would advise you not to do it."

An illustrator extraordinaire who made an impact on nearly every aspect of media - comics, novels, magazines, movies, television, and fine art. His style was unmistakable, unforgettable, and inspirational. Here are a few of my personal favorite pieces. For more, I suggest checking out his Famous Funnies Buck Rogers covers I posted on the Invisible Scarlet O'Neil blog, and a variety of awesome imagery on display at the Golden Age Comic Book Stories blog.
