ESW Podcast - Episode 88

The eighth series dust has settled and the ESW crew asks, “Was it good, man?” Mike, Mike, Jen, the Phantom Troublemaker, Mary Ogle, and Sean Whelan share their thoughts on the 12th Doctor, Clara, Danny, and Missy. We all took a “Deep Breath” but did we end up in “Heaven?” Whether we thought Steven Moffat and company were naughty or nice, we are all hoping St. Nick gives us a fantastic present this Christmas.

ESW Podcast - Episode 87

Oh, my giddy aunt! The eighth series concludes with Missy and her army of the flying Cyberdead vs the Twelfth Doctor and his amazing friends. Mike, Mike, Jen, and the Phantom Troublemaker decide not to delete their emotions, but to discuss the epic finale. We’re not a good crew. We’re not a bad crew. We’re just idiots with a podcast and microphones.

This week's Shout Out goes out to the family, friends, and fans of comic book artist Jeremy Dale. He was taken much too soon from us and it will be sad not to see him in Artist Alley at local events. There's an online fundraiser to help the family during this time at GoFundMe.com.

Next week, ESO continues to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Batman with a look at the '60's tv series. Just in time for the long-awaiting digital release! Plus, the usual Rants, Raves, Geek Seat victims, Khan Report, and Shout Outs!

This week's Shout Out goes out to two amazing artists whose contributions to the October episodes helped make them some of my personal favorites ones we've ever recorded. The award-winning Mark  Maddox loves the classic monster movie genre like no one else I know, and his passion is on display with every one of his art pieces. I never get tired of looking at the artwork of Brad "Tiki-Shark" Parker. It's no wonder he produces my monthly calendar of choice. Having his artwork on our cover art was a dream come true. Please do yourself a favor and check out both of these great talents!
